Exporting clean metadata issues
Hello everyone!
Looking for a developer. We are migrating from Thirdlight IMS and are having trouble with out metadata export.
We have written scripts to clean our metadata for issues such as rogue characters, tabs, hard returns, metadata spilling from one cell into another etc. But every time we identify and fix one issue another materialises. We have some fields in IMS which contain too much data which is what I believe caused the initial problems. We also have an issue with some of the metadata being hidden in the pagethumbs.
Does anyone have experience of using the API and successfully cleaning all data ready for a tab delimited import into another system?
It would be great if anyone has any pointers or if they would like to work with us.
