Assign user to group and the user loses access settings

I have used the function "Users.ApplyUserPreset"  , and it works. There is only on problem. If an admin set a user to access a specific folder, and the user changes group with the function "Users.ApplyUserPreset". The setting are gone.

I want to keep these settings.

It is possible for to set user access settings from the api ?

Any suggestions ?

Re: Assign user to group and the user loses access settings

Hi,

Applying a preset will mean that existing folder access is replaced by what the chosen preset allows so there isn't a way to carry over access to specific folders. Our API doesn't yet include other approaches to allow you to assign access outside of the existing Users.ApplyUserPreset() method, sorry.

Best Regards,
Steve
