E-mail templates - changing the metadata of assets
Hello,
I'm looking to change the metadata information when sending out assets via e-mail from Third Light.
As it stands the metadata within the email is:
- File name
- Reference number
I would like to change this to:
- Caption
- Copyright notice
- Photographer
- Date created

Sorry, a limited number of variables are exposed to the emailpictureemail template (see the text at top of this template for the list) but the ones you wish to use are not unfortunately available to it.

So am I right in thinking that the only way to send out metadata with assets to external users (clients, press etc) is via Lightbox?

Yes, the lighbox emails are more suited to this task.
