Downloads_GetLink - API error

Hi,

We are calling the api method Downloads_GetLink as follows. (I have removed the session info for security reasons - Can pm it. )

However,it returns the following

{"result":{"api":"OK","action":"ACTION_NOT_PERMITTED"}}

We called the same api method on a different third light(client) site with appropriate parameter values and it seems to work fine. Therefore we believe it's the configuration of the IMS site that causes this issue. 

Can you please provide us some insight?

Hi Nishan,

You would get this response if the user in question has downloads disabled (or, more generally, if the request exceeds the permitted download configuration). I would suggest you review the user settings and compare with the download options available when logged in to the IMS web interface.
